I'm afraid this clip doesn't help the stereotype that many outside the US have of Americans as obscenely wealthy. Huge gated house, big SUV, expensive jewelry, big safe, alarm system, gold, and more.
I live a modest life and keep my doors and windows locked. While I experienced a burglary a couple of years ago, I didn't have much to lose, so I didn't lose much.
